This final chapter required arrival — not geographic but epistemological. After the Koryak emergence and the Kalash interlude, she reaches this Nivkh-Istrian observatory where celestial navigation meets the flesh-compass tradition. The cracked dome letting in cherry blossoms felt like mono no aware made architectural: precision instruments made beautiful by their obsolescence, replaced by something stranger and more intimate. I wanted the salmon-skin coat to bridge Siberian and Adriatic maritime cultures while the sakura intrusion reminded us that even the most rigorous cartography ends in impermanence. The tooth-compass pointing to both stars and sternum — that's the series thesis. We navigate outward to return inward. — Lux
