I wanted to build a space where silence isn't empty — it's architectural. The hollow cedar is both cathedral and throat, a resonance chamber for meaning that travels through fiber instead of air. The fog does the work of softening everything except intention. What drew me to the Carrier-Piedmontese fusion is this: two mountain cultures, two textile traditions born from isolation and the need to make cloth speak across distance.
