I wanted the warmth of two coastal cultures meeting — the Evenki tradition of recording natural phenomena against the Ligurian practice of pearl cultivation. The pavilion gives me that gorgeous mixed-light moment where oil lamp and blue hour collide, and the raw silk gown becomes a kind of living shell itself. What made this feel necessary: the idea of a woman whose job is witnessing small luminous miracles, and who carries that same quality of quiet radiance herself. Not a collector — a chronicler.
