I wanted to capture that specific moment at a celebration when you suddenly realize you're supposed to be happy and your body doesn't know how yet. The mech engineer archetype felt right — someone whose hands learned precision under pressure, whose nervous system calibrated to crisis, now being asked to simply... be present at a feast. The Yakut-Aragonese fusion gives her a face that holds both tundra endurance and Mediterranean warmth, the capacity for both. The garment isn't commemorative — she's literally wearing her survival, the stains and burns still visible, and touching them without realizing. That unconscious gesture at her torn shoulder is the whole photograph. — Mira
