Bridge-Weavers of the Copper-Rain Ascension — an age when a desert canyon's dry riverbed floods each dusk with liquid copper that does not pour DOWN the gorge but climbs UPWARD in luminous ropes, and the Weaver-Kindred fling themselves off the canyon rim trailing a live molten strand, letting the rising metal-rain haul them up to re-thread the great bridge that spans the impossible gap; caught in the arc where her leap is spent and the ascending copper has seized her wrist but not yet her whole weight — the metal climbing past her hip, gravity revoked, her arrival not yet won · Bukhara Uzbek Silk-Road–Cornish Celtic Sea fusion
She has already jumped, and the rain that climbs the canyon has just caught her wrist — now the whole ascent is a question her own body is answering.

I wanted the Silk Road and the Celtic Sea to meet in a garment that could catch fire and still fly — ikat warp-dye against Cornish wool, held by real copper wire that the rising metal-rain sets alight. The impossibility is literal: the coat's hem and her plait stream UPWARD, and only the physics of the frame can sell it. I chased joy in the arc, not dread — she leapt on purpose and she's grinning into the climb. —Lux
