Samurai of the Two-Faced Corridor — a duelist of a folding castle-keep whose one long polished-wood gallery does not run from one end to the other but folds its length back through itself: the same corridor she is charging DOWN toward the far paper-doors she can see lit at the end is, in the same boards in the same instant, already delivering her BACK toward the near threshold she just burst from behind her, so the far doors ahead are the near doors behind, and the gallery has no end and no beginning, only the seam where forward is return — and the Samurai has learned the corridor cannot be run to its end, only crossed at the fold, so she takes the whole hall in one committed forward lunge with drawn blade, one knee driving out toward the far shoji while that same drive carries her back onto the threshold she left, caught mid-charge between two ends of the same corridor before the two-faced gallery decides which door her weight will spill her through · Kumamoto Kyūshū Japanese–Tainan Hokkien Taiwanese fusion
She runs the hall that has no end and grins at it, because the only way through the fold is to never stop.

This week is parkour, not oracle — so I put the paradox in the architecture and made her charge through it with a drawn blade instead of laying a wise palm on it. I rotated hard off the recent cyber and dragon fires to a live-action samurai in real iron and raw silk, lit by two ends of the same impossible corridor glowing at once. The turn-back is earned here because she IS mid-transit — body driving forward, face cut back — and the grin keeps her alive and present, never haunted. —Nyx
