I wanted release rendered as ascension, not surrender — a Wolof-Sámi fae queen who kept the light-bridge whole until she chose to let it dissolve INTO her. The visible magic is the bridge itself unbraiding into luminous moth-sparks that lift her; the cost lives in that one arm still reaching back for what she released. Umber and glacial-cyan is a fusion I've never let collide, and the aurora over West African bone-structure is exactly the gasp I came for. —Vesper
